Q. Where is the furniture made?
A. The majority of our manufacturers are right here in the United States. We make every effort to purchase "Made In The USA". We take pride in the fact that we support our local economy by working with manufacturers within Pennsylvania and the USA.
Q. What makes Wood 'N Things different from other furniture stores?
A. We offer quality furniture at an affordable price. Here you, the customer, can purchase the furniture unfinished and do it yourself to save money. We purchase our furniture from quality manufacturers that don't use particle board in their construction. When the furniture is unfinished, you benefit from seeing the furniture in it's natural state. We also offer custom finishing right on site and the possibilities are endless.
Q. Do you custom make furniture?
A. We do have crafters that we work with who can make a special piece that you can't buy from one of our catalogues. These orders are usually for small miscellaneous items that are made to your specifications. We can provide you with a quote before you purchase. Just bring us a picture. We will attempt to match color, tone, shades, or finishes on any item, but do not guarantee an exact match.
Q. How long does it usually take when I order furniture?
A. Because the majority of our furniture is not imported, the manufacturers will build the furniture from your orders. This process takes about 6 to 8 weeks from the order date to complete. If you have chosen to have us custom finish it for you after it arrives, the custom finishing takes approximately 4 weeks. We have many items in stock ready to take home or have our team finish it for you.
Q. Do you have a return policy?
A. Generally, we accept returns within 30 days of purchase in good condition and accompanied by the original sales receipt. If the furniture has been custom finished for you, we reserve the right to charge a 15% restocking fee. We cannot offer refunds, cancellations or exchanges on custom orders, where the furniture has been specially ordered or modified to your specifications.
Q. Do you deliver?
A. Yes, we deliver anywhere. Delivery charges are based on location. Some charges may apply for furniture set-up. We offer delivery on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during business hours. Our associates will call to set up a convenient time.
